Here are my others healthy hard drives and the WD or the X drive is just a hard drive I pulled from my dads old broken HP computer and I was surprised to find a WD drive and right now it's still in mint condition and no caution warnings even with more hours than my Seagate drive. So should I have anything to worry about with that drive because it holds a lot of information about 500GB worth of information or is this normal for the drive life expectancy? I'm no expert on HDD but any word would be great help or relief! I use it for extra storage as the new slimmer 1TB has faster read and writes so I used it for my OS. The drive that had the caution was the older one as you can see in the picture below it has a good amount of hours to it. So I downloaded it to see if there was any problems with my drive. Your contributions will be deeply appreciated.I saw this Facebook showing this CrystalDiskInfo software showing a 1TB HDD had a caution warning and I have 2 Seagate drives and one of them is the older non 1TB platters. Please make the amount of each contribution $10 USD or more (in JPYen, 1000Yen or more) if possible. As to current status, this project is extremely short of funds and is in desperate need of your donations. Therefore, this project needs more development funds. Any software development demands huge amount of time and effort, and on top of that, new hardware devices are released one after another which becomes a necessity to purchase in order to support them. information such as how many times the power was turned on, the time length of use, and temperature to monitor the state of the disk.īoth CrystalDiskInfo and CrystalDiskMark are open source software personally developed by me. In addition to information like model number, volume, buffer size, it obtains S.M.A.R.T. Your Current Pending Sector Count is a warning about unstable sectors on your drive that are waiting to be remapped (reallocated) to spare space on the drive. If anything abnormal is detected, it will notify you by text or voice message, and it supports both HDD and SSD. CrystalDiskInfo C5 - Current Pending Sector Count A number greater than 0 in the C5 - Current Pending Sector Count column will cause CrystalDiskInfo to set off a Caution warning.
